Pack light, bring your nanite gun, meet me at the foot of the statue at 59:00. We're going offline for 24 hours. No fucking heroics unless I say so.

I don't know if you recall, but I did promise I'd find a pair of gloves for you.

Got a green mission for you, one of the assignments for the new guys. As many people as possible have to call this scott guy Scoot McCute. Figure it's easy to get it spreading around.

Putting together a group to go to the northwest. Might get some clues as to what took out some of the recruits a couple of weeks back, the ones that got dropped in pieces.
FROM: vakarian.garrus@cdc.org
Also might not. But figured I'd see if you wanted to come.

Shepard, I know this likely isn't something you wanted to hear, or that anyone would want to hear. But I'm leaving you this message to explain why I've done what I have. I was assigned a mission from Gilese and Mothership, to choose someone to die as an exercise in the actions of the chain of command. As such, I believe the only choice I can make is to choose myself.
I'm sorry that this was how that this mission is ending. Try to find as much information as you can from the CDC to defeat the reapers. I don't need to tell you the importance of finding an edge against them.
I have never told you about how glad I was that day you saved me on Therum, and how you're one of my best friends, Shepard. I've seen a lot of the galaxy, and accomplished so much, and I have you to thank for helping me. I wouldn't be the person I am today without you. For that I want to say Thank you, again, Shepard, and may the goddess always watch over you and guide you when all seems lost.

[Garrus' voice is heavy, subharmonics low, and the words come slowly.]
Shepard. I...
[He trails off. There's a beat before he resumes talking.]
I'm sorry. Needed to say that.

[John knows if he tries to start this conversation off normally, Shepard will likely just delete the text. He isn't totally thrilled about the idea of going to her at all, but his back is against the wall and he's not convinced Aeryn is listening to him.
So he cuts to the chase immediately.]

I'm worried about Aeryn. Can I trust you?

About that 'raise your hand if you haven't died' thing.

Guess I can't really tease you about that one anymore.

But I still outshot you.

Hello, Commander. I'm one of the people involved in your bootcamp and I wanted to introduce myself. I've spoken to Aeryn Sun a few times but not yourself, and thought it would only be polite.
FROM: benjamin.michelle@cdc.org
So... Hello! I'm Michelle Benjamin. We'll be seeing a lot of each other in the coming days, I expect.

Arbuckal's a good guy, you know. I know what you've got against him, and he's not the most friendly person ever, but giving him a chance wouldn't be a bad thing.

[Ferdinand isn't sure if he should impose or not. He's sure Shepard has enough on her mind at the moment, but he'd also like some answers as to that text that was sent out to everyone a couple hours ago.
They also don't have an extraordinary amount of privacy, but he deems it wise to at least approach quietly and knock on the wall to announce his presence.]
Ah, I don't mean to bother you and I'm very sorry if I'm intruding. But...
[There's really only one question on his mind.] How are you doing?
