❚❚❚❚❚ IC.
■ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: As long as you don't mind Shepard being deeply uncomfortable and/or offended? Go for it!
■ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Shepard's a tough girl; she can take a licking and keep kicking so if you want to rumble, she'll willingly throw down.
  • Would your character die for another character currently in the game? Yes
  • Would your character kill for another character currently in the game? Situational dependent, but yes
  • Is your character comfortable with and/or willing to mutilate a dead recruit’s body? Not even remotely comfortable, but willing in the (very unlikely) scenario that she deems it a necessity. Would refuse an order to do so otherwise.

■ RELATIONSHIPS: Unlikely, though you're welcome to try. Romantic relationships are low on her priority list.
■ MENTAL INFORMATION: Intense loyalty, determination and a healthy helping of guilt are Shepard's usual go-to's. She's contracted with the CDC out of a sort of mute desperation to help save both her planet and her galaxy at large, and while she's generally a master with compartmentalization there's no denying that she's deeply conflicted about how she's chosen to accomplish her goal.
■ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Shepard is human, though has been fitted with both ocular enhancements to improve her marksmanship and extensive cybernetics as a means to keep her body operational after burning up in the atmosphere and being scraped into a petri dish an unfortunate accident left her less than fighting fit. Furthermore, she suffers from some marked signs of PTSD including but not limited to insomnia and hyper vigilance.
  • Are they vertebrate? Yes
  • Is “breathing” necessary for their survival? Yes
  • Do they feel hunger? Yes
  • How many fingers and eyes? Ten fingers, two eyes

■ FAVORITE SENSORY INPUT: Favorite/preferred sensory input? (sound, touch, taste, sight, etc.) Touch, sight
■ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS:
  • Does your character have any physical, emotional, or psychological triggers? Nothing that would outright incapacitate her, though she does baseline suffer from PTSD markers (hyper vigilance etc); being forced into idleness for long periods of time is likely to make her combative. Death and/or threatened loss of close friends/crew affects her deeply and, if she can pin down a responsible party, is likely to be met with some form of violence. Death/mutilation of children. Brainwashing/nonconsensual physical alteration. Being in space without some kind of tether (with a tether is still pretty (unsure)).
  • Have they told another recruit of these triggers? No
  • Under what circumstances will they reveal these triggers? Shepard tries to avoid talking about any and all personal trauma by any and all means necessary, preferring to center any emotionally fraught conversation on the other party. While people who know her well might be able to infer discomfort through her actions in certain scenarios, she likely won't discuss them frankly.

■ REBELLIOUS TENDENCIES: As long as the ends justify the means (in this case, getting her 'war assets' for the fight back home), Shepard can convince herself to do just about anything. But if she suspects there's any possibility of not getting what she wants from the CDC or if there's a better way of getting it (e.g. taking CDC's tech and running away with it, etc), she might rebel. If an order she dislikes doesn't seem necessary to the bottom line and the risk versus reward of refusing it seems like it falls in her favor, she'll do so.
